Access, use, and reproduction of the electronic resources made available through the Grinnell College Libraries are governed by license agreements with publishers which may impose greater restrictions on use than does copyright law. The user is responsible for observing these agreements as well as the copyright laws of the United States (Title 17, United States Code), including the fair use guidelines that protect scholarship and research.

Online access to the reports, documents and journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, from 1817 to 1966. Also available in approximately 13,800 bound volumes. Please see a librarian if you would like to request the bound volumes from storage.
Unrestricted Resource  U.S. Government Publications Office (GPO) via FDSys
GPO's new system for searching government documents. FDSys will eventually replace GPO Access. Content is slowly being migrated from GPO Access to FDSys. If you can't find the document you need in FDSys, try GPO Access; the document you need might not have been migrated yet.

1976-. Indexes all types of U.S. government documents, including judiciary materials and Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records.
Unrestricted Resource  UNCTAD TRAINS
The Trade Analysis and Information System from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Comprehensive data on tariffs and other trade control measures. Requires downloading the WITS software client to access data. WITS has been installed on PCs in the campus computer labs; look for WITS in the Start menu.

Extremely detailed import and export data for over 20,000 commodities. You must see a librarian and get a password to use this database.
