Reference Books
When beginning a search on a topic with which you are unfamiliar
it is helpful to start out with a good reference book that
can give you an overview, introduce you to some of the important
dates and events, people involved, scholars in the field,
and useful secondary sources. A reference librarian can
assist you with finding good reference material and you
can also find reference books through a search in the library
catalog. For instance, do a word search and limit it to
location=reference:

This reference work is international in scope and covers crimes against humanity, crimes against peace, and human rights violations.
