Student Positions
Applications for student employment are available online, and in paper at the Burling Library and Kistle Science Library Circulation desks. (As of September, 2009, we are fully staffed. However, you are welcome to submit your application, which we will keep on file for the academic year. If you are still interested in working for the Libraries next summer or fall, we ask that you resubmit your application.)
Online Applications can be submitted in one of these ways:
- If you are on a PC with a desktop email application, you can simply submit the data; be sure you first enter your name and the date on the form.
- If you are using a PC with internet Email (including Outlook Web Access), you will be prompted to save the data; you can then attach this file to an email sent to bohstedt@grinnell.edu.
- You can also fill out the form, print it, and send to Beth Bohstedt, Burling Library, bring it to the Burling or Kistle Circulation desk, or scan it and email to bohstedt@grinnell.edu.
We accept applications for the academic year, as well as for all college breaks. There are 13 departments within the libraries; students are hired to work in all departments and are directly supervised by library staff members.
