The Movie Browser Online is a .pdf version of the master list of films in the Listening Room and AV Center collections. To view the list, select one of the links below. The videos are arranged in title order and split between six (6) files, plus a list of new videos--New Entries--added to the collections since the last update of the Movie Browser Online. The browser includes the film's format (DVD or VHS), call number and whether it is restricted to library use only. If it is located in the AV Center or requires a multi-region player, this information should also be noted; otherwise, the video should be in the Listening Room and playable on standard US equipment. To get more information about a specific title--such as whether a film is checked out, click on the title's link to access its record in the library catalog.
Movie Browser Online
Like the original, hard copy version, the Movie Browser Online is updated monthly while classes are in session, then as needed during breaks.
Also, each month we create a list of movies using a theme appropriate to the month or based on an event or topic. The lists consist of title with link to the library catalog, location and call number, as well as a summary of the film.
For November, our theme is based on our tribute to the 70th anniversary of the "Golden Year" of cinema. Click on the active link below to open the list.
